An exclusive report by Mary Margaret Olohan for the Daily Signal reveals that Fox News is just as bad as the rest of the corporate media. If you’ve been paying attention, these revelations are unsurprising. After all, Fox has consistently misgendered males throughout news coverage, using female pronouns for Dylan Mulvaney — who is, to be clear, a man pretending to be a woman.

Olohan spoke with current and former Fox employees and obtained a copy of Fox’s company handbook dated January 2021. She reports

Fox News employees are allowed to use bathrooms that align with their gender identity, rather than their biological sex, and permitted to dress in alignment with their preferred gender. They must also be addressed by their preferred name and pronouns in the workplace.

Olohan noted that Fox’s policies seem to align with the laws of Fox’s home city of New York, as well as the laws of California, where many Fox employees work. These places have progressive laws regarding the use of preferred names and pronouns and access to preferred bathrooms.

But Fox doesn’t just abide by the letter of these laws; the company seems intent on living up to their spirit, too. The company handbook reveals that “employees who are transitioning their gender have the right to be open about their transition if they so choose, and to work in an environment … without fear of consequences or transphobia for living openly.”

Employees are encouraged to “inform and educate” others about their transition, and Fox is apparently willing to bend over backwards to create a “workplace transition plan” and facilitate crossdressing in the office.

A former Fox employee called Fox “no different” from other media. “It’s a standard American mega corporation with all the same types of policies and employees as those other companies,” the source said

Daily Wire commentator Matt Walsh agreed. “There’s no daylight at all between Fox News and MSNBC when it comes to gender … And I think that’s something that Fox’s viewers need to know,” Walsh said

“They want you to think it’s this place that supports traditionally conservative values … But in reality, they’re pushing this nonsense behind the scenes,” said a former producer for Tucker Carlson Tonight. He told the Daily Signal that the show’s producers had fought to use male pronouns for the chyrons during a segment about Dylan Mulvaney.

Tucker Carlson, who was fired from Fox just the other month, lost his job due to his openness in speaking about religion, reports indicate. Days before he was fired by Fox Corporation chairman Rupert Murdoch, Carlson delivered remarks with theological undertones at the Heritage Foundation’s gala. Murdoch, apparently made uncomfortable by talk of religion and eager to boot his ex-fiancée’s favorite commentator off the air, showed Carlson the door the following Monday. (RELATED: Life After Tucker Carlson: Is Fox News Finished?)

Heritage Foundation president Kevin Roberts spoke with the American Conservative about Carlson’s gala speech in the aftermath of his firing. “[Carlson] is, like so many of us who are people of faith, coming to grips with a reality that at once is beautiful and challenging … The challenging part of it is that you turn on any news outlet, and we have not just people saying that men are women and women are men, but even a few people on the political right defending that evil,” Roberts explained

The beautiful part, he continued, is that “good people figure that out, and they summon the courage that I as a person of faith would say, comes from the Holy Spirit.”

There are really only two possibilities when it comes to Fox’s pro-transgenderism stances on workplace policy and pronouns: either the company is just giving lip service to progressive orthodoxy, or Fox is a true believer in gender ideology and its accompanying insanity. In reality, these possibilities are two sides of the same duplicitous coin.

Like Roberts said, it’s a challenging reality. Even the so-called conservative media is unwilling to speak the basic truth about what it means to be human. But the beautiful part is that good people figure out that they’re being lied to, and Olohan has shed much-needed light on the newsroom that claims to be “standing up for what’s right.”
